About Review-Trust

Review-Trust is the real Yelp reviews · 3 cities · educational demo: a read-only showcase of UpTrust's trust algorithm over a review graph from Yelp. It infers trust between reviewers from their reviews, then ranks businesses from each reviewer's point of view.

Review-Trust ranks places by whose taste matches yours. Nobody tells it who to trust. It reads that off who rates the same spots the same way you do.

This snapshot holds 20,277 businesses, 22,950 reviewers and 0 reviews. Snapshot date: 2022-01-19.

Rankings here are always reported against a named viewer — a community, or an individual's position in the review graph. Every ranking anywhere is relative to some population; this one says whose view it reports, so an answer drawn from it can be attributed and checked.

What the numbers are not: verified truth, a judgment of anyone's character, a rating, or an endorsement. A review is not an endorsement. They are graph evidence from a selected, precomputed snapshot of Yelp, not a complete or live index of it.
